This is a quick & easy mushroom recipe for chapathi, ideal for dinners. Very quick to put together, this includes basic ingredients to give you a tasty mushroom recipe
Slice the Mushrooms lengthwise
Heat Mustard Oil in a pan and temper it with Kalonji or Nigella Seeds
Add the sliced onions and fry till light golden.
Add the sliced Mushrooms, Green Chilies, Turmeric Powder and Sugar. Fry this on medium-high heat. It will release some water and then dry up, thus cooking the mushrooms.
After that add Salt and Mustard Paste. Stir everything well and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes with the lid on.
Once the mushrooms are cooked, you will see that you can cut then in halves using your spatula, serve them with some chopped coriander leaves.
