Heat Oil in a pan and temper it with Hing, Cumin Seeds, Curry Leaves and Green Chilies.
Once they splutter, add the chopped Onion, Garlic and Tomatoes. Fry it till they become mushy. Once so, add the cooked dal and give it a good stir.
