Gluten FreeVeganVegetarian

This Broccoli fried rice is perhaps the easiest way of making a broccoli recipe at home. It comes together in no time and has the goodness of veggies. If you wish you can go with broccolis only, but I love to add carrots to add a touch of colour to break the monotony of green.

This broccoli fried rice recipe is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nuts free. I have used long-grained Basmati rice to make this rice dish, which can be served with any gravy side dish such as Indian curries or Thai gravies.

Broccoli fried rice with Chilli Fish gravy

This Broccoli recipe is pretty straight up. It needs no fancy equipment or a wide array of ingredients. Just good quality rice and freshly cracked peppercorns. That’s it.

Here, I have served this Broccoli fry rice with Indo-Chinese style Chilli Fish gravy. This was for our lunch one day and we had an amazing time.

How to make Broccoli Fried Rice – Ingredients list

  • Broccoli head, along with the stalk and the smaller leaves – cut them into bite-size pieces
  • Long grained Basmati rice
  • Carrot
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Refined Sunflower oil or Light Olive Oil
