Tips & Tricks of making Cheese Chicken Kebabs
As we know Kebabs are originally made using minced beef, mutton or lamb meat. Usually, these kinds of meats take a longer time to cook as compared to lean meat like fish or chicken. Here, I have skipped the part of cooking the minced chicken meat separately.
If you are using this recipe for making kebabs with minced beef, mutton or lamb, it would be absolutely necessary to cook the meat first then proceed with the steps of making kebabs with them.
Also, I skipped the egg as the minced chicken, boiled potatoes and cheese made it very coherent and formed the patties quite effortlessly. If you want to add richness to your kebabs, then you can add an egg.
Adding breadcrumbs is again optional.
Grate the boiled potatoes and the cheese into the minced chicken meat and add rest of the ingredients to make a smooth mix to work with. Wet your hands and make kebabs of size as per your liking.
Freezing the Kebabs: At this stage, you can freeze these kebabs for later. Simply line your air-tight container with parchment paper and place the kebabs on it. If you need to make a second layer, then place another sheet of parchment paper on the top of the first set of kebabs and stack.
When you are ready to cook, take the kebabs out of the freezer and fry them. No need to thaw.
How to serve Cheese & Chicken Kebabs
Since this is a snacking dish I served it with some ketchup, mint-coriander green chutney, sliced onions and a wedge of lemon.
