This GRILLED FISH with LEMON BUTTER SAUCE is a very special dish to both of us. Back when we were dating, we used to frequent this place called Scoop at New Market in Kolkata.
And, THIS is what we used to have there, every time. We would enjoy this with a glass of Iced Tea, which would be followed by a stroll through the Hoggs Market before he would drop me back at my place.

All of this came back flashing to us when we were enjoying this plate of perfectly grilled Basa fillet, topped with the most luscious Lemon Butter Sauce. So while we had our lunch that day, we reminisced about our courtship days, how I would ride with him on his bike, and so much more! This is the power of food.

In this recipe, the fish can be made in two ways. First, you can prepare the fillet and grill in your oven over a grilling rack. Or, you can sear them in a grilling pan on your gas stove. Both methods are equally easy and give you equally delicious results. I will tell you both ways of grilling a Basa fish fillet. But first, let’s see how to make this easy Lemon Butter sauce at home.

Turn them over in the mid-way for more uniform cooking. Once thoroughly cooked, you may transfer it on the baking tray laid beneath the rack and grill it again for a couple of minutes to get that char. This time place the tray on the top shelf.
