  • 2 ripe Mangoes, peeled and chopped that would come out as 2 cups
  • 1 unripe Mango, peeled and chopped that would come out as 1/2 cup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • A pinch of salt

  1. Prep the Mangoes. Cut off the top and peel the Mangoes. Chop the Mangoes and measure them properly
  2. In a blender, puree the chopped mangoes until smooth with Sugar
  3. In a non-stick pan, combine the mango puree, lemon juice, and salt
  4. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously
  5. Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and appears shiny
  6. Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature
  7. Once the mixture has cooled, strain it through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any pulp or solids
  8. Transfer the strained mixture to a clean jar or bottle and refrigerate
