Mango Iced Tea Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags. You can also use black tea leaves for more flavor, or green tea in case you do not have black tea available.
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Mango Fruit Tea Recipe Instruction

  • Step 1: Steep the Tea
    1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.
    2. Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat and add the black tea bags.
    3. Let the tea bags steep in the hot water for about 5-7 minutes, or until the desired strength is reached.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Mango Puree
    1. While the tea is steeping, prepare the mango puree by blending the diced mango with sugar and mint leaves in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  • Step 3: Combine Tea and Mango Puree
    1. In a large pitcher, pour the brewed tea (sieve if using tea leaves) and mango puree.
    2. Stir well to combine, ensuring the mango puree is evenly mixed throughout the tea.
  • Step 4: Chill or Serve
    1. You may refrigerate the pitcher for a couple of hours before serving.
    2. Or you may serve it immediately on ice.
