Instructions
To make the Aloo Tikki Patties
Boil the potatoes till they are just done. Once they have cooled down completely, peel them and spead them on a plate or a kitchen towel to dry up a little bit.

Meanwhile steam the peas. Drain the water and allow the peas to sit on the sieve for a couple of minutes.

In a mixing bowl, add the boiled potatoes along with peas and mash them together.
Add crushed cornflakes, grated ginger, finely chopped chilies and fresh coriander leaves along with the spices. Mix everything well into a smooth dough.Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and form them into patties.
2 tbsp Coriander leaves, 2 Green Chilies, 1 inch Ginger, ¼ tsp Garam masala powder, ½ tsp Cumin powder, ½ cup Cornflakes
Heat a griddle pan or a skillet and drop a knob of butter. Place the burger patty in the pan and cook it on medium-low heat. Turn them over and allow the next side to cook as well. Once done, take them out and place it on a plate.
To assemble the Aloo Tikki Burgers
On another skillet, drop a knob of butter and place the burger buns cut in halves. Once they turn golden, take them out.
To assemble the burgers, place the bottom half of the burger bun. Slather some burger sauce. Start creating layers with lettuce, aloo tikki burger patty, tomato slices and onion rings. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
