This chicken subway sandwich recipe is easy, simple and a perfect idea for a quick and hearty breakfast recipe. All you need is a couple of fresh footlong loaves, some breakfast chicken sausages, veggies for salad and some good cheese. This homemade sub sandwich comes together in no time giving a perfect kickstart to the day.
Take a frying pan or skillet and fry the sausages in a teaspoon for butter. Once they are crisp on all sides, take them out.
Slit the loaves at the sides, lengthwise. Open them up.
Place a layer of cheese slices and then place onion rings and sliced tomatoes.
Now place the fried sausages and top it with the sauces.
Repeat the layers of veggies and cheese and place the top half of the loaves.
Brush some melted butter on the top and place them on a baking tray. Put them in the microwave and heat it on full power for a minute to melt the cheese.
