This Cheese Parantha recipe is ideal for Breakfast, Evening Snacks and Kid's Lunchbox. Its quick, needs basic ingredients and fills up for a long time.
1/2cupGrated CheeseAny mix would do like Mozzarella, Cheddar, Normal Processed Cheese Cubes, etc.
1Green ChiliFinely Chopped - Omit if not preferred by kids
Ghee or Refined Oil to Fry.
Instructions
Add the Ghee into the Flour along with a pinch of Salt and mix everything nicely. Break the lumps if any.
Now, add the water gradually and knead the dough.Also, make the cheese filling with the grated cheese and finely chopped Green Chili or Red Chili flakes. Mix everything nicely.
Heat a skillet or tawa.
Pinch off a generous ball of dough and roll it into a flat and thin disk. Spread a heaping tablespoonfull of filling over the half of the disk and then roll the rest half over the filling. Brush some water over the edges and press them together to stick.
Place it on the hot skillet and let it brown, then drop a few drops of Ghee on each sides and fry till cooked.
Serve hot. Although note that the filling will be melted and very hot, and can scald the insides of a kid's mouth. So, be careful.
