Ingredients
- ¼ cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp Cornflour
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Egg
- 4 tbsp Refined Sunflower Oil
- 3-4 tbsp Soaked Fruits & Nuts
- 2-3 tbsp Soaking Liquid of Fruits & Nuts
- ½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
- ½ tsp Nutmeg powder
- ½ tsp Salt
Instructions
- Prepare the mugs by brushing the inside with some oil. Pre-heat the oven at 180°C
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Drop the soaked fruits & nuts (without the liquid) in the dry ingredients and roll them in.
- Now, in another bowl whisk the egg till loose and fluffy. Now, add the sugar and oil. Whisk everything together.
- Now, add the dry ingredients in two parts. Loose the batter with the soaking liquid.
- Divide the batter in 2 mugs and bake them for 15 mins or so. Once done a skewer put in the center would come clean. Look for that!
- While its hot, brush some more of the soaking liquid on the top of the cake. Be generous!
- Serve hot. Or, allow it to cool and serve with a dusting of sugar or a dollop of whipped cream.
