¼cupSpring Onion stalks
Salt to Taste
2tbspAjwain
2tbspRed Chili Powder
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, knead the dough using flour, a light drizzle of oil, and water. Once it comes together, cover the bowl with a moist kitchen towel to allow it to rest for 10 minutes or so
2 cups Whole Wheat Flour, Salt to Taste
Finely chop the spring onions. Remove the roots part. Chop off the white portions as well and keep them for later use. Now use the rest of the green part.
¼ cup Spring Onion stalks
Divide the dough into smaller parts. Take one and roll it thin. Drizzle a couple of drops of oil and spread it across
Sprinkle a pinch of ajwain or carrom seeds along with red chili powder. Now take about a tablespoon of chopped green onion and spread it over the rolled paratha
2 tbsp Ajwain, 2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
Now, using a knife cut from the centre to the edge. From the sliced edge, start rolling the dough with the chopped onion inside. Bring it into a dough ball.
Sprinkle some flour and roll the dough ball into a paratha. Keep sprinkling flour on the surface as it might stick during rolling
Plop it on a hot tawa or griddle and cook it on both sides. Apply some ghee (or oil, if you prefer) and fry it till you get the parathas crispy
