This Pui Shak recipe is unique and is super healthy. It is steamed, minimum oil and is super easy to make. Try this if you love Pui Shak Chorchori or Pui Shak Chenchra recipe
Prepare your steamer, if you have. Or, you can cook in your rice cooker or in pressure cooker as well.
Take a stainless steel bowl or box with flat bottom. Take all the ingredients and mix them together.
If you are using a steamer then place it in the steamer and cover it to cook it for 10-12 minutes.
If you are using Rice Cooker, then place a lid on the bowl or box and place it inside the cooker. Pour little water in the cooker and close the lid of Rice Cooker and cook it for 10-12 minutes.
If you are using Pressure Cooker, then place the box in the cooker and pour some water around it. Remove the whistle and close the lid of the cooker. Turn the heat on and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Once done, take the box out and check if the pui shak or malabar spinach has softened completely. If you find excessive water, pour it out in a pan and stir it for a minute or two to dry out the excess water.
