If you love the Indian festival of colours, i.e. Holi, then you must have heard about Thandai. It's a milk-based drink made with nuts and spices. This instant Thandai mix can be easily made at home, and can also be used to bake amazing baked goodies. Here, I have made a small batch of Thandai powder and baked Mug Cakes with them.

Ingredients
1/3cupThandai Mix
2tbspAPF or Maida
1tbspCornflour
2tbspSugarGranulated
1/4tspBaking Powder
1/4tspBaking Soda
1Egg
2tbspOil
2tbspMilk
A couple drops of Rose extract
Instructions
Whisk the eggs till it is fluffy. Add the sugar and oil and whisk well.
Sieve the APF, Cornflour, Baking Powder and Baking Soda together.
Add the dry ingredient into the egg mix along with Thandai powder and Rose extract.
Loosen the cake better with milk. Now pour the batter in the mugs and bake in a pre-heated oven at 170c for 20-24 minutes.
You may top the cake with sliced almonds and melon seeds for garnishing purpose.
