- ¼ cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp Cornflour
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Egg
- 4 tbsp Refined Sunflower Oil
- 3-4 tbsp Soaked Fruits & Nuts
- 2-3 tbsp Soaking Liquid of Fruits & Nuts
- ½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
- ½ tsp Nutmeg powder
- ½ tsp Salt
Prepare the mugs by brushing the inside with some oil. Pre-heat the oven at 180°C
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Drop the soaked fruits & nuts (without the liquid) in the dry ingredients and roll them in.
Now, in another bowl whisk the egg till loose and fluffy. Now, add the sugar and oil. Whisk everything together.
Now, add the dry ingredients in two parts. Loose the batter with the soaking liquid.
Divide the batter in 2 mugs and bake them for 15 mins or so. Once done a skewer put in the center would come clean. Look for that!
While its hot, brush some more of the soaking liquid on the top of the cake. Be generous!
Serve hot. Or, allow it to cool and serve with a dusting of sugar or a dollop of whipped cream.
